WHAT IS A MED TECH? Medication Technicians prepare and administer pharmaceutical medications to patients. They also keep detailed records of the medications prescribed to patients and the side effects patients experience after receiving medications. Who can take class?: You must meet at least one of the following qualifications to register: Current medical certification (CNA, CMA, HHA, Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Pharmacy Tech, EMT, etc.) OR Completed or enrolled in school or training program where this will supplement your knowledge in the field. CNA, HHA, CPR class, etc.) OR Be currently working, or have past experience working, in the health/medical field (hospital, doctor’s office, nursing home). ​ Why take the class? Will receive a certificate of completion and will be able to use this training certificate at: Nursing Homes Assisted Living Facility Rehab Centers Demonstrations include medication pass.

Class fees (course fees and deposits) are non refundable and non transferable.
