***ATT: TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION PLEASE BE SURE TO SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR DRIVER LICENSE & STUDENT ENROLLMENT FORM LOCATED ON TOP OF THE WEBSITE*** COURSE ADDRESS: 9250 Bay Plaza Blvd suite 319 Tampa High School diploma or GED: You must be a United States high school graduate or hold equivalent credentials (e.g. GED) to take this course. When and where will the workshops be offered? Classes are located at our office in Tampa/Bradenton area. The class sizes are small and do fill up quickly. Who can take class?: You must meet at least one of the following qualifications to register: Have current medical licensure (RN, LPN, MD, Dentist, ARNP, etc.) OR Have current medical certification (CNA, CMA, HHA, Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Pharmacy Tech, EMT, etc.) OR Completed or enrolled in school or training program where this will supplement your knowledge in the field. CNA, HHA class, etc.) OR Be currently working, or have past experience working, in the health/medical field (hospital, doctor’s office, nursing home). ​ Why take the class? Will receive nationally accredited phlebotomy certification upon successful completion of exam!! Excellent preparatory work for RN, LPN or Paramedic programs. Laboratories Health Clinics Research Clinics Nursing Homes Doctor’s/Vets offices Employment Screening Labs Military Our phlebotomy course is a continuing education hybrid course includes - combination of online and in class hours (40 hours total). This course is for Health Care Providers wanting to advance their scope of practice or learn a new skill. The 2 days spent in class are primarily focused on learning and practicing how to perform venipunctures. Covering butterfly needles/straight needles, dermal punctures and order of draw etc. Live venipunctures are included during class hours. The online hours are covering foundations, theory and other critical components. Upon completion of the course students once all requirements have been met, students will be eligible to sit for the certification exam offered at our Tampa campus. Exam fees are separate
